How we handle your data

What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and the role you identify with (e.g. clinician, caregiver, researcher) to help us tailor our communications to you.

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message content. We do not collect payment information at this stage.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We collect your information for the following purposes:

• Waitlist updates: to keep you informed about our device's development and availability. Lawful basis: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
• Responding to enquiries: to reply to messages you send us. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to questions about our work (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

We will never sell your data, and we will not use it for purposes beyond those stated above without asking you first.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries are retained until you ask us to remove you, or until two years after Peter's commercial launch, whichever comes first. Contact messages are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us at info@peterneurotech.com.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable, machine-readable format (where processing is based on your consent)
• Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@peterneurotech.com. We will respond to all data rights requests within one month of receipt, in line with our obligations under UK GDPR.

Cookies

This website does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use a strictly necessary session cookie if interactive features are added in future. We will update this notice and seek consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
